Following these steps will ensure your Android-based table-tent device is set up with Wi-Fi and ready to display digital signage content. Whether you’re setting this up in a restaurant, hotel, or event venue, a quick and stable Wi-Fi connection guarantees that your message reaches your audience effectively.
Follow our step-by-step guide: Swipe down from the top of the screen to open Quick Settings, then hit Settings (gear icon). Navigate to Wi-Fi (or Network & Internet), turn it ON if it's off, and select your network from the list. Enter the password carefully and tap Connect. Once successful, the Table-Tent will show the Wi-Fi symbol in the status bar.
After entering the password and connecting, look for the Wi-Fi icon in the status bar at the top of the screen. For extra assurance, you can open a web browser or another app that uses the Internet to verify it loads content. A stable connection ensures the Table-Tent can download content and report status reliably.
Once the device is connected, return to the Home screen and launch the SeenLabs Signage Player app. Inside the app, tap the Go button to start playing your digital signage content. From there, the Table-Tent will fetch and display the scheduled content you've set up in SeenLabs Studio.
A quick and stable Wi-Fi connection ensures your messages reach the audience smoothly. It minimizes content buffering or downtime. This is especially important in venues like restaurants, hotels, or events, where visitors need to see timely menus and promos. In practice, solid connectivity means the Table-Tent stays updated and ready to capture customer attention effectively.
