What is Proof of Play?
Proof of Play is a supplementary feature designed to deliver precise playtime data for your digital content. It's ideal for businesses looking to gain insights into how long each piece of content is displayed on their screens. Configuring Proof of Play:
- From the Enplug dashboard, select the desired Display Group.
- Navigate to the Proof of Play tab and activate the feature.
- Click "Save" to apply the changes.
Accessing Proof of Play Information:
With Proof of Play enabled, you can access reporting data directly within the Enplug dashboard. Use the filters on the left-hand side to swiftly sift through and display the relevant data.
Generating a Proof of Play Report:
- Open the app and navigate to “Apps” > “All Apps”.
- Choose “Graphics and Video”, "Corporate Graphics", or "Ad Scheduler".
- Hover over the desired graphic(s) and select the checkbox.
- Click on the Reporting button and set your report parameters (time range and aggregation frequency).
- Click "Generate Report" to download your data in a .csv file.

Interpreting the Report:
The downloaded report will provide detailed insights into your digital signage performance, including the asset name, device and display group information, play count, play duration, and the report's start and end times. It's important to note that there may be up to a one-hour delay in the data provided.
