Multi Scheduler is a new CMS capability that lets you create multiple independent schedules for each piece of content or playlist. Previously, our system allowed only one date range per content. Now you can set up several time ranges (with their own dates and times) for the same creative. This gives you flexibility to tailor deployments for different campaigns, seasons, or locations without manual workarounds.
Before Multi Scheduler, each content item or playlist could have only one assigned schedule (one on/off date range). That meant if you wanted to run the same ad at two separate times (e.g. morning and evening), you'd have to duplicate the content or swap schedules manually. Multi Scheduler removes that limitation.
Open the Multi Scheduler window and you'll see a clear list of all current schedules for your selected content. From there, you can easily add new schedules or delete existing ones. For example, click "Add Schedule" to set a new date range or time slot, and it immediately appears in the list. It's an intuitive, centralized view that streamlines the scheduling process.
Multi Scheduler supports fine-grained settings. You can configure full date ranges (or a single start date) for each schedule. It also lets you specify exact days of the week and hour ranges for each entry. For instance, you could run content only on weekends, or only during lunch hours, by adjusting the day and hour settings. These options give complete control over when your content plays.
This feature went live on May 13, 2024. Customers are encouraged to enable it right away to take advantage of its expanded scheduling flexibility.
